Corrosion resistance

Heat resistance

316 stainless steel (06Cr17Ni12Mo2) has good oxidation resistance during intermittent use below 871 ° C (1600 ° C) and continuous use above 927 ° C (1700 ° C). It is best not to continuously use 316 stainless steel within the range of 427 ° C-857 ° C (800-1575), but when continuously using 316 stainless steel outside this temperature range, it has good heat resistance.
